October 2025 Newletter

Giveaway and Recap of my Favorite Posts from the Year

Hello, everyone! How was your September?

Mine went by super fast! I started school again, and this year I’m taking PSEO (early college) for the first time. I’ve never been graded by anyone other than my parents or had my papers read by peers, so it’s definitely been a big adjustment—but it’s going pretty well so far.

I’ve also been playing the keyboard with my church’s youth group worship team more often, which has been super fun. It’s been great to get involved with a group of kids my age.

September 23rd also marked my seventeenth birthday. It’s crazy to think I’ll be an adult next year—life feels like it’s moving so fast!

What’s been going on with you this month? I’d love to hear!

This month, the newsletter is going to be a little different. Since this is the two-year anniversary of The Introverted Writer, I thought I’d do a quick recap of some of my favorite posts from the year and give you a chance to enter a fun giveaway I’m hosting.

Thank you all so much for being a part of my newsletter! ❤️

My favorite posts from this year

As much as I write this newsletter for all of you, I also write it for myself. I love writing—of course, I’m a writer—and this has been such a great space to practice, experiment, and just enjoy the process without pressure. Looking back, I wanted to share a few of my favorite posts from this past year. I hope you enjoyed them too (and maybe will enjoy revisiting them now!).

  • February 2025: This post was all about organizing your writing—one of my favorite topics in general but when it’s combined with writing it’s even better. But what makes it especially meaningful is that it was the first time I shared about my Autism publicly.

  • May 2025: I loved this post overall, but the Spotlight section stands out most. When I first reached out to Marissa Meyer’s publicist, I never imagined she’d say yes. I still can’t believe I got to interview Marissa Meyer herself—and later even meet her in person and talk to her about it!

  • August 2025: I had so much fun with this one! I experimented with the “Reading” section by sharing my currently reading stack, and I also interviewed an author I deeply admire, Josiah DeGraaf.

  • September 2025: For reasons I can’t quite explain, I really enjoyed writing this newsletter. It was the first time in a long while that I shared my fiction with you all. It wasn’t my best work, but it felt good to share something with you again.

I hope you all enjoyed reading these posts as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Two Year Anniversary Giveaway!

As this month marks the two-year anniversary of The Introverted Writer, I couldn’t help thinking about how grateful I am for all of you. Without your support—subscribing, reading, and engaging—I would have given up long ago. You remind me that my writing matters. So thank you!

To celebrate, I’ve put together a special giveaway! In the past, my giveaways haven’t been anything special; this time, I wanted to make it something truly fun and enjoyable for you.

I’ll be giving away two gift bundles, each including:

  • A hand-crocheted book sleeve from Knot a Clue Crochet Nook

  • A hardcover book personally chosen by me

  • Two tea bags

  • Two packets of hot cocoa

  • A few chocolates

  • A set of adorable bookish stickers

To enter, simply click the link below and submit your name and email so I can contact you if you win. Winners will be announced in next month’s newsletter. (Remember, if you filled out the survey last month, make sure to enter this form as well.)

Want an extra chance to win? Fill out a short survey to share your feedback on how I can make this newsletter even better. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Side note: Be sure to check out Knot a Clue Crochet Nook! My sister runs the Etsy shop and makes everything by hand. Stock is a little low right now (she just had a great craft market), but if you message her, I’m sure she’d be happy to make something by request!
